I was one of the Graphic Layout Designers for the Sierra Journal 2024 Edition which gained national recognition from the American Scholastic Association.

Theme: Hand of the Creator

A finished work of art is only a fraction of its story. Beneath the surface lie the ghosts of its creation. Intent props up every detail. Mistakes are corrected and re-corrected. New creative frontiers are explored. Every masterpiece is shaped by the hands of the creator, but the beauty of the artistic process is often overshadowed by the work's final form. The design of the 2024 edition is not only a celebration of the artistry within but the path taken to achieve it. It is a reminder that no work of art appears out of thin air-- it is shaped by human hands, pored over, and carefully considered. Art is nothing without its process.
