ABOUT THE PROJECT

Beyond The Layers is a personal project I made in Publication Design class. It is a 40-page self bound magazine that explores collage art in a simple yet profound way. It reveals that collages are more than just paper and magazine cutouts stacked on top of each other. This project explores my classmates’ collage work, interviewing them about their work, and exploring how collage art is more than just stacked paper cutouts, there is always something beyond the layers.
