ABOUT THE PROJECT

As a Marketing and Digital Content intern for Cal State Monterey Bay’s University Communications, I design campus-wide marketing materials for official university initiatives across both print and digital platforms that include: signages, banners, stickers, graphics, and other assets needed to support university campaigns and events. I also execute creative briefs from multiple campus departments, ensuring it aligns with university brand guidelines.

Admitted Otter Day: A-Frame Navigation Signs and Easel Signs

Admitted Otter Day is a university event where first-year admits and new incoming students can get the chance to explore campus, meet faculty, and learn more about Cal State Monterey Bay.

For Admitted Otter Day 2026, I got the chance to work on producing and designing 20+ A-Frame Navigation signs as well as making a template for easel signs for dedicated academic sessions. My role was to ensure all materials followed brand guidelines and make sure guests and visitors have a welcoming experience and an easy way to navigate the campus and be able to go to different resources and academic sessions easily!

Official CSUMB Instagram Social Media Graphics

Part of my responsibilities as an intern was to design social media graphics promoting school events as well as acknowledging holidays, ensuring everything aligns with brand guidelines and standards.

I’ve also had the opportunity to design stickers and executing creative briefs from multiple campus departments like Financial Aid, Service Learning, the Alumni Association and more! I’ve utilized our mascot assets as well as university branding.

University and Department Stickers

Campus Welcome Banners

I’ve had the opportunity to work on campus welcome banners that will be used in events like Admitted Otter Day, Admitted Transfer Day, and other campus events. These banners are meant to give students, incoming students, as well as guests and visitors a welcoming feel to the university!
